Red Lions will celebrate their championship with a short one week vacation in San Francisco. Albert Almendralejo announced that they are working on their visas and the team should arrive October 8 or 15, 2007. Jun Aspillera will head a group of Bay Area Bedans to welcome the newly crowned 2007 NCAA Basketball Champions. Several Southern California Bedans, led by Teddy Relatos, will drive up to support their Northern California counterparts.

The Red Lions beat Letran Knights, 76-64, Wednesday, at the Araneta Coliseum. Letran must feel very sad since the Squires lost to the San Sebastian Staglets, 88-83. Also a sweep. The Staglets are now the new three-peat junior champions, after the San Beda Red Cubs did it from 2002 to 2004.

Will the Red Lions final get a "three-peat" in 2008? We surely hope so.

Go! San Beda fight!
